Dr Samer ZAWAIDEH, Consultant Orthodontist
joined Siwak Dental Center after 15 years of experience as a consultant orthodontist at Saad Specialist Hospital in Al-Khobar.
Dr. Zawaideh received his Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Jordan in 1989, and his Orthodontic specialization and PhD from Harvard University (USA) in 1997. In the same year he was appointed as the Director of Graduate Orthodontic Program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and served in that capacity till he joined Saad Specialist Hospital in 2002. During his tenure at Harvard he had a busy orthodontic practice at the Faculty Group Practice at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Zawaideh is also the author of several research and clinical papers in the field, which were published in the top peer-reviewed journals in the US.
Dr. Zawaideh brings to Siwak Dental Center a vast experience the field of Orthodontics (Interceptive orthodontics, Child and Adolescent orthodontics, Functional appliances and dentofacial orthopedics, Adult orthodontics, Interceptive orthodontics, Child and Adolescent orthodontics Orthognathics, as well as multidisciplinary orthodontics).
Dr. Zawaideh’s is the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright scholarship. His biography was published in the Millenium Edition of “Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare” (2000-2001, 3rd Edition/ USA), in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers (2002, 7th Edition/ USA), in “Who’s Who in America” (2003, 57th Edition/ USA), as well as being listed in “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” (2000, USA).
Dr. Zawaideh is a registered consultant orthodontist with both the Saudi Council for Health Specialties as well as the Jordanian Dental Association, and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
